One of the most exciting parts of my visit to Bundi was to witness the rock paintings. Painted in mineral colours, the paintings are estimated to be nearly 10,000 years old.
The paintings depict animals like Deer, Bison, Nilgai, Porcupine, Wild boar, Big cats etc., along with cultural group activities, Dancing, hunting scenes, daily life during that period.
It was truly adventurous for me to be jumping over rocks and crossing water bodies to reach such a site which hardly sees any human presence!
